Creating a Windows 10 installation USB drive

Step 1: Gather Requirements

  1. USB Flash Drive: You’ll need a USB drive with at least 8 GB of space.
  2. Windows PC: Ensure you have a working Windows PC to download the media creation tool.
  3. Internet Connection: A stable internet connection is necessary to download the Windows 10 files.

Step 2: Download the Media Creation Tool

  1. Go to the Microsoft Windows 10 download page.
  2. Scroll down to the “Create Windows 10 installation media” section.
  3. Click on the Download tool now button to download the Media Creation Tool.

Step 3: Run the Media Creation Tool

  1. Locate the downloaded file (usually in your Downloads folder) and double-click it to run.
  2. If prompted by User Account Control, click Yes.

Step 4: Accept the License Terms

  1. After the tool opens, read the license terms and click Accept to continue.

Step 5: Choose Your Action
