Step 1: Gather Requirements
- USB Flash Drive: You’ll need a USB drive with at least 8 GB of space.
- Windows PC: Ensure you have a working Windows PC to download the media creation tool.
- Internet Connection: A stable internet connection is necessary to download the Windows 10 files.
Step 2: Download the Media Creation Tool
- Go to the Microsoft Windows 10 download page.
- Scroll down to the “Create Windows 10 installation media” section.
- Click on the Download tool now button to download the Media Creation Tool.
Step 3: Run the Media Creation Tool
- Locate the downloaded file (usually in your Downloads folder) and double-click it to run.
- If prompted by User Account Control, click Yes.
Step 4: Accept the License Terms
- After the tool opens, read the license terms and click Accept to continue.
Step 5: Choose Your Action
- On the next screen, select Create installation media (USB flash) for another PC and click Next.
Step 6: Select Language, Edition, and Architecture
- Choose your preferred Language, Edition, and Architecture (64-bit or 32-bit).
- Click Next.
Step 7: Choose USB Flash Drive
- Select USB flash drive and click Next.
- The tool will list available USB drives. Choose the correct USB drive from the list (make sure to select the right one, as it will be formatted).
- Click Next.
Step 8: Download Windows 10
- The tool will start downloading Windows 10. This process may take some time, depending on your internet speed.
- Once the download is complete, the tool will create the bootable USB drive.
Step 9: Finish the Process
- After the creation is complete, you will see a message indicating that your USB drive is ready.
- Click Finish to exit the tool.
